Transport Office Apprentice

We want to employ a bright and dynamic apprentice to learn our business from the ground up. Along the way you’ll have opportunities to learn to drive trucks and gain transport management qualifications to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).

Summary:
Working week – 0800-1600
Total hours per week: 40.00
Weekly wage – £150 – £200
Expected apprenticeship duration – 12 months
Apprenticeship level – Intermediate Level Apprenticeship

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work in a lively and friendly transport company
  • Liaise with different departments from Admin to Vehicle Compliance
  • Using IT traffic management and route planning software
  • Use vehicle tracking systems
  • Complete driver de-briefs
  • Complete general transport admin duties
  • Understand vehicle servicing schedules

  • Driving licence preferred but not essential
